Sustainable future
Norflo is a member of Virke, and to strengthen our work towards a sustainable industry we are members of «Ditt Spor». Among other things, that entails that we source separate our garbage and provide electric car charging stations for our employees. Our facility has bike parking and showers for our employees, and we don’t accept direct mail advertising.
As our customer, you’ll notice that we have strict requirements to the marking and treatment of wood packaging. Our products packed in wooden crates and pallets are all approved according to ISPM-15, for instance. We avoid plastic packaging, reuse what we can of packaging, filling materials and recycled paper boxes. We encourage our suppliers to follow these same guidelines. These are some of our contributions to a strong, sustainable industry.
Order from Aker for actuated ball valves with a local control panel
In late summer, Norflo received an order from Aker for actuated ball valves with a local control panel. The valves were manufactured by Zavero in Italy and the actuator and panel by Biffi, also from Italy
